My understanding about appetitive faculty
The appetitive faculties of the learner are the feeling, emotion and rational will. These are the factors that affect the learning of the learner. This faculty is governing the body which is embodied by the learners. Appetitive faculties are from the emotional state of the learner on how they can react or feel in the certain scenario they experience. In this matter, the aptitude is being defined where the natural skill or the innate talent or gift are being realized.
In addition, those faculties are affected by the environment of the children where he belongs. From home to larger community that he is legitimate member. In this matter, the acquisition of behavioral patterns, acceptance of standard norms, and developed necessary skills are being acquire by the learner. Furthermore, the curiosity, responsibility, creativity and persistence are being present in the learner. In that case, the system to learn of the child is developed and the preference in learning is occurring. These are justified by Gardner in his Gardner's Multiple Intelligence and Learning Styles.
